Partnership with the EC Trainees Committee
We are very happy to announce our partnership with the Trainees Committee!
The Trainees Committee (TC) represents all the trainees working at the European Commission during each Blue Book Traineeship session. The Trainees’ Committee acts as a facilitator among the trainees and external parties, and supports trainees in making the most out of their traineeship by providing them with both social and professional development activities, coordinated by different subcommittees.
Project 668 and the Trainees Committee have already collaborated in the past, providing the Commission’s trainees with workshops and trainings on networking and CV and cover letter writing. This time the two organisations have decided to go a step further in attempting to boost the trainees employability after their traineeship and this led to the organisation of a series of workshops on professional development by the title of “Beer or Career? – What do you choose, having a beer or investing in your career?”.
From Monday, 21st of October 2016 Project 668 will hold a number of workshops encompassing career orientation and career strategy, CV and cover letter writing, communication competencies, job interview tips, job searching platforms and networking skills. Furthermore, Project 668 will be participating in the traditional Job Fair, organised by the Trainees Committee itself.
Project 668 and the Trainees Committee have at hearth the future of Commission’s trainees and are committed to provide them with the best possible tools to be successful in their endeavours once the traineeship is completed.
